About This Property

This historical hotel is housed in a fully renovated Neo-Classical mansion, decorated with authentic 19th Century Cretan objects and photographs. The furniture includes antiques dating to the 19th century, everyday artefacts collected from all over the island and a remarkable collection of locks and Turkish objects. The dining room, where the traditional breakfast with homemade sweets and marmalades is served, showcases a large number of the venue's artefacts. Its central location in Chania town means that it enjoys great views of the Gulf of Chania and is within walking distance of the Venetian harbour and just 1 km from the city centre, restaurants, bars, and the bus station. Things to do in Chania

Chania
What comes to mind when you hear about Chania?

The Venetian Harbour, the old port, water front restaurants and the shopping streets come to ours! Chania is one of two places you're most likely to see on arriving to Crete. Most of everything you will want to see is clustered close to the harbour with churches, old buildings, and craft shops.

The atmosphere has a touch of Florence and Venice ( when those cities still had some room to walk), combined with the culture and character of Cretan people and traditions. Chania is surrounded by numerous rich options for sightseeing, exploration and discovery. Mountain villages provide a view into the "inner Crete". The Samaria and many other gorges can be hiked, archaeological sites abound.
