Things to do in Costa Adeje

Costa Adeje

Over 1.6 million Brits head to Tenerife every year, and it’s not hard to see why. With an average temperature of 29C in the summer and 20C in January, and up to 10 hours of sunshine a day in the peak holiday months, the climate is perfect for a holiday at any time of the year. There’s something for everyone in Tenerife, from bustling resorts with lively nightlife to quiet villas where the only entertainment is the private pool. One of the most popular resorts for family holidays to Tenerife is the resort of Costa Adeje, on the southwestern tip of the island.

Activities and Attractions

Costa Adeje is just down the road from the lively resort of Playa De Las Americas, so if you are looking for a combination of relaxed holiday but with bars and restaurants on your doorstep, we can help with exclusive deals at fantastic prices. The main attraction in Costa Adeje is of course the two beaches. Playa de Fanabe has the black volcanic sands so typical of Tenerife, and as a contrast, neighbouring Playa Del Duque has gorgeous golden sand imported from the Sahara. Both beaches are Blue Flag standard, meaning you and your kids can play and bathe safely.

The volcano in the centre of Tenerife, Mount Teide, dominates the island views and as there’s a cable car right to the top it doesn’t mean a huge exertion to get there. It’s worth making the trip for the views alone, but if you’re the more active type there are numerous walks and trails through the national park surrounding the mountain.

Siam Water park is one of the top days out with children in Tenerife, and it’s just minutes by car from the main resort area in Costa Adeje. There are lots of different rides and activities catering for all ages, and it’s far better and more modern than Aqualand, the other water park on this part of the island.

Where To Stay

There are many options for accommodation in Costa Adeje. If you’re looking for a cheap holiday to Costa Adeje, check out the Costa Adeje hotels such as Los Geranios or Aparthotel Panorama, and if you’d prefer a luxury, all-inclusive holiday experience then the Costa Adeje Gran or the Isla Bonita cannot be beaten. Speak to us for recommendations; as one of the UK’s leading Costa Adeje specialists, we can offer an insider’s view and personal recommendation. We’re also fully ATOL and PTS bonded for additional peace of mind, and can offer superb value for money on a last minute deal.

Who Goes There?

Costa Adeje’s laid back feel makes it the ideal resort for a fun filled family holiday or even a romantic getaway as a couple. It’s relaxing and peaceful; a true slice of paradise on Tenerife. The nightlife is there if you want to take advantage of it, but if you prefer peace and tranquillity, you can have that too. It really is the best of both worlds.

Nightlife

Playa de las Americas is really where it’s at in terms of nightlife, and you can be in the heart of the party zone in just 10 minutes from Costa Adeje. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in Costa Adeje itself, offering a wide variety of different eating options from Spanish tapas to burgers or Indian food. Most of the hotels have some form of entertainment in the evenings too, or you could just sit on the balcony and watch the sunset with a glass of wine. Our exclusive deals to Costa Adeje will help us tailor your package to you and your family’s specific needs.
