Corfu Holidays

Corfu is located on the northern end of the Ionian Islands, a scenic stretch of islands with stunning beaches and crystal clear waters along Greece's western coast. Lying in the Adriatic Sea, beautiful Corfu is known as the Emerald Isle thanks to its lush green landscape with olive groves and cypress trees. The mountainous north of the island has excellent pebble beaches while the quieter south offers sandy beaches with a genuine Greek holiday experience. The island comes alive during the spring with colourful mountain flowers, and summer months bring visitors from across Europe and around the world looking for the best holiday deals and experiences.

When to Go

Summers in Corfu are sunny and warm with around 12 hours of sunshine in June and July. The summer is also relatively dry with most rain on the island occurring between November and March. The best time to surf on the island is during the warm summer months thanks to excellent seasonal breezes. The winds not only help cool the island, they also provide excellent conditions for surfing. Although the island is a popular destination from March through to October, summer is the most visited time of the year with temperatures regularly reaching over 30 degrees in July and August.
